How will TN Become 100% literate.
See this article .. Atrocious and the headmaster gets a transfer so he can go and continue is dirty trade in another school.
What is Happening ... Where in the name of God is TN going. Barathi told ... Give education to Every Girl and the lady in her will lead the Country to glory.
After reading this article i will be surprised if any girl child will be allowed to go to schools.
Google of Tamil Songs
I have a huge collection of Tamil Songs which needs ID3 tagging and i am stumped as to how to go about doing this. Maybe i should have B. Vijayakumar with me.
According to The Hindu he seems to be the Google of tamil songs and can tell the entire details of a Song within seconds of humming the first few lines. Extraordinary skill.
ID3 tags form the major part for Slicing and Dicing in an IPOD and without them i have got no ways of knowing what song is the next one or who is singing the current song.

The Hindu Images
The Hindu - the daily newspaper have launched a portal that sells Images. Seems to be a Good idea. Hindu being the age old newspaper should have really a Good collection of images.
Hindu as i see it is more poplar in South India Especially TN and Andhrapradesh; but they still claim that it is the National Paper .. Any ideas why ???
One of my colleagues asked me - The National Paper in India is called the Hindu ???
I was speechless !!!!

There is a calculate price link on that website. Hindu charges 120000 INR to use a Photo of Tajmahal (id:181753) for exhibitions for 12 Months.
Will they pay some % as royalty to the photographer ????

My Ebay Deal
Okay I have also now become an Ebayer (Officially)
I purchased a Sky Remote for a Sky Box (Courtesy BV) on ebay today and closed the deal for 8 quid. Hopefully it comes to me in a weeks time atleast or i have busted 8 Quid.

Highly Recommended
Saya - The snack bar/cash & carry near the neasden temple is highly recommended. They have a wide varitey of Gujarati dishes and sweets and every one of them is excellent.
We bought the Rasamali from there last weekend and ate it this weekend - Very busy and also me starting to be a bit diet contious; It was the best rasamali i have ever tasted. It was better than the Krishna Sweets rasamali that we get in Chennai.

It is a Great Loss to the music faternity. We have lost the the Queen among the carnatic singers.

Polar Express
Saturday (today) went to Polar Express at UGC Cinemas here in canary wharf.
An Excellent movie - does not look like a Cartoon at all. They have done an excellent job on the Graphics and Tom Hanks looks so real.
A Must watch :)
Incredibles and A Series of Unfortunate Events are on the Pipeline ;)
PS :- Planning to get the unlimited Movies pass in UGC Cinemas; Seems to be a Good deal .. :)

Lord's Television
I don't have anything against Christianity - i like that religion for all the good things they have been doing all over the world and especially India. I watched Mother Teressa's entire funeral procession and was touched by the number of people who shed tears for the great lady.
The thing that i am not able to digest is the public propaganda that they do on television. They voo people to come and join the religion, they pray on the screen. Do what you want inside the four walls of your house and not publicly like this.
Need to get some sort of law on to this ...
